"Search" Menu

All search options are heavily reliant on the Side Panel. This is to keep the text area from being obscured by Find/Replace windows.

Find/Replace... (Ctrl+F)

Shows the "Find" tab in the Side Panel and puts the cursor into the "Find" field so you can immediately type the word to search for.

Find Next (F3)

Finds the next occurrence of the word specified in the "Find" field on the "Find" tab in the Side Panel.

Find Previous (Shift+F3)

Finds the previous occurrence of the word specified in the "Find" field.

Find Current (F4)

Takes the word at the current cursor position and finds the next occurrence of that word. Only whole words are found and the search is not case sensitive.

Replace Next (Ctrl+H)

Finds the next occurence of the word in the "Find" field and replaces it with the contents of the "Replace" field.

Count Instances (Shift+Ctrl+C)

Shows the "Find" tab in the Side Panel and puts the cursor into the "Count Instances of" field so you can immediately type in the word to count.
